Moldovan public association informs on support for common right-wing candidate for president office

Chisinau, 7 November /MOLDPRES/ - The members of the public association, PARLAMENTUL-90 (PARLIAMENT-90), today informed about their support for the common right-wing candidate for the Moldovan president office, Maia Sandu, in the presidential polls’ runoff.    

The association’s secretary, Nicolae Misail, has urged the citizens to participate in the runoff of the presidential ballot, in order to improve the situation in Moldova and continue the European integration. “Let us everybody, young and elderly people, rise to defend our Independence, to make the first step towards the true change, by regaining the presidential institution. We are confident that, by electing Maia Sandu as president, an honest and integral person, we can start the change. With Maia Sandu as president, Moldova will really resume the European integration,” Misail said.   

“Young men and women, go to vote thousands, just as your parents did it. Come and restore the dignity of those who were humiliated and maltreated. Good will people of other ethnic groups, let us join together and regain the chance for a better life.” the association’s secretary said.   

The direct presidential elections’ runoff will take place on 13 November 2016. The citizens will be able to elect between the candidates who picked up most votes in the first round of the polls: the leader of the Party of Socialists, Igor Dodon, and the leader of the Action and Solidarity Party, Maia Sandu.
