Moldovan parliament to consider over 50 normative acts till end of autumn session

Chisinau, 14 December /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament’s autumn session will end on 22 December 2017. A decision to this effect was taken at a today’s meeting of the standing bureau, which will propose the ruling to the parliament for approval, the parliament‘s communication and public relations department has reported.  

Also today, the standing bureau approved the agenda of the parliament plenary meetings for 15-22 December 2017.  

“The parliament’s agenda will be rich. Over 50 normative acts are contained on the agenda of the parliament’s plenary meetings, including the budget law for next year, documents agreed upon with IMF and EU, drafts concerning the justice reform, energy, financial and banking sectors,” Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu said. ”

On 15 December, the MPs will discuss, in the second reading, two drafts of the law on state budget and the state social insurances budget for 2018, the draft law on the mandatory health insurances accounts for next year, budgetary, fiscal and customs policies. Also at the 15 December meeting, the parliament is to ratify the agreement on loan between Moldova and EU on macro-financial assistance for Moldova and a memorandum of understanding as an integrant part of this agreement.   

Next week, at the last meetings of the autumn session, the lawmakers will discuss, in final reading, the draft programme First Home, draft Air Code of Moldova, on the Customs Service, a draft on the exercising of non-qualified occasional activities carried out by day workers. At the same time, a draft law on the penitentiary administration system and the concept of Moldova’s information security are on the agenda too.
