Chisinau municipal council approves Moldovan capital's budget for 2018

Chisinau, 22 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau Municipal Council today approved the Moldovan capital’s budget for 2018 in the final reading. The document sees revenues worth 3,758,388,900 lei and expenses worth over four billion lei.

Following the amendments made to the draft budget at the request of councilors, in 2018, more money will be earmarked for kindergartens, compensations for thermal energy, as well as for suburbs.

To cover the budget deficit worth 290,616,000 lei, financial means scheduled to be got from foreign loans, domestic financing sources, as well as from the sale of flats will be used.

More councilors criticized the draft budget. They noted that the document for 2018 had no priorities and most expenses planned were not justified.
