Moldovan government to earmark eight million lei to owners of farmlands placed beyond Rabnita–Tiraspol highway

Chisinau, 11 January /MOLDPRES/ – The Cabinet of Ministers decided today to allocate MDL 7.98 million to support the farmlands’ owners of Dubasari district, who do not have access to the agricultural lands located along the Ribnita – Tiraspol highway, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
However, over 5,500 farmers will get MDL 1229.68 per hectare, based on a regulation drafted and approved by the Council of Dubasari district, under transparency and fairness’ terms. The money will be provided for 2017 from reserve fund of the Government.
The security zone (ZS) located along Ribnita – Tiraspol highway constitutes 6494.79 ha of agricultural lands.
