Employees of educational institutions in northern city of Moldova to gain increased salary

Chisinau, 01 May /MOLDPRES/ – The auxiliary employees of educational institutions in Balti municipality will benefit from a salary increase starting 01 May 2018. A decision to this effect was approved by the Municipal Council at the meeting on 26 April.

The Councilors of municipality set a 20 per cent addition to salaries of technical and auxiliary staff in general education institutions. These are employees with payroll categories 1 – 6: aids for educators, nurses, guards, dereticers, chefs etc.

Taking into account that the salary of these employees amounts MDL1,000 – 1,140, then supplement will be minimum MDL200.

The decision of Balti municipal council was determined by several addresses of employees of educational institutions, which called for "measures to improve wage conditions and reduce the staff shortage," reports esp.md.

Addition to salary will be calculated for 01 May – 31 December 2018. The money for those payments will be allocated from available balance of municipal budget.
