Day of 1 June 2018 day-off in Moldova

Chisinau, 16 May /MOLDPRES/ – Friday, 01 June 2018, will be considered as a day of rest, while Saturday, June 23 – a working day. The government has approved today a decision on it, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Throughout this decision, authorities intend to give parents opportunity to mark the 1st of June together with the children, with a series of events being organised on this day in all localities in Moldova.
According to international practice, 01 June is officially declared in Moldova "The child protection day".
