Train tickets for more international routes cheapened in Moldova

Chisinau, 18 May /MOLDPRES/ – The train tickets with destinations Chisinau – Moscow, Chisinau – Sankt – Petersburg, Chisinau – Odessa and Chisinau – Bucharest have cheapened since today.
According to the MEI’s information and media communication service, the tickets prices for flights to Russia and Ukraine reduced by 6 per cent and for those to Romania by 4 per cent. The eligibility is based on a lowering of exchange rate on Swiss francs and euro.
According to the cited source, price of two Chisinau-Moscow trains ranges MDL 2,054.50 – MDL 1,143.80, depending on wagon – with or without a coupe. The today discount is MDL 66.60 – MDL 123.80.
The cost of tickets for Chisinau – Sankt – Petersburg route will be reduced by MDL 135.50 in wagon coaches and by MDL 82.50 in wagons without compartments. Thus, tickets will cost up to MDL 2,239.20.
The train tickets Chisinau – Odessa will cost: Class I – MDL 157, Class II – MDL 149,20, Class III – MDL 141,90. Chisinau – Bucharest train tickets will be MDL 24 – 27 cheaper, depending on class: Class I (2-seater) – MDL 658.45 and Class II (4-seater) – MDL 569.73.
