Chisinau, 7 June /MOLDPRES/- A new multifunctional centre, which will operate on the single window principle, was launched in Rezina district yesterday.

Attending the event, director of the Public Services Agency Sergiu Railean said that the opening of multifunctional centers is only the first phase of public service reform. “If in the past the citizen was married, divorced and came to the Registry, he was sent to the Civil Status Service to provide confirming documents, now he comes once, does not present these documents and finally saves time and money,” Railean said.

The building is located in the downtown area, in a room that has been renovated and transformed into a modern office providing to citizens comfort of open space. However, 19 employees, including 17 operators, will provide service at the highest level, so that residents of Rezina district can request in one place documentation services and population registration, registration and licensing of legal units, vehicle registration, registration of immovable property and rights thereto.

“I am glad we have this center in Rezina, which will allow us to be closer not only to the citizens of the district, but also to those from Râbniţa and Camenca, who will also be served here", the head of Rezina district, Eleonora Graur, said.

Four young people from Rezina district received their first identity card free of charge. The action is part of a campaign carried out by the Population Registry Department of the Public Services Agency, and aims at providing identity documents to graduates of pre-university education institutions.
