Agenda of cultural events in Moldova for next week – end

Chisinau, 08 June /MOLDPRES/ – The National Theatre Mihai Eminescu in Chisinau will present performance "Familia TOT" (Family TOT) by István Örkény, directed by Alexandru Cozub, on Saturday, 09 June, at 18:00.  

According to organisers, theatre lovers are invited to enjoy a special show, staged by a drama with dramatic accents, where they will find main role of a postman who likes to play correspondence, a major pretending to be detective and a pretty, patient family. On same day, at 11:00 at Republican Puppet Theatre Lucurici, play "The story of good heart" by S. Radu (after I. Vodrajek) and Municipal Theatre Guguta – "La izvor" (At the spring) by Iulian Filip .

Also on Saturday at 18:00, Russian State Drama Theatre A. P. Chekhov presents show "Revizorul" (The inspector) by N. V. Gogol, a comedy in two acts. The show is a satire about bureaucratic and corrupt system of Tsarist Russia. Unsteady source of original characters and ingenious quotes, play continues to have a major influence on Russian culture.

On same day at 18:00, at National Philharmonic Serghei Lunchevici takes place a chamber concert. The show is directed by composers Elmir Nizamov, Yaroslav Sudzilovskii and Olga Bochikina (Russia) and Alexei Pilatov (Belarus). The concert is supported by ensemble "Ars Poetica".

On Sunday at 11:00, Republican Puppet Theatre Licurici there presents performance "Capra cu trei iezi" (Goat with three kids) by Ion Creanga and Municipal Theatre Guguta – "A memorable day" by B. Iunker.

On Sunday at 17:00, Maria Biesu National Opera and Ballet Theatre presents performance "Macbeth", opera by Giuseppe Verdi, based on tragedy of the same name of great Shakespeare. Since mid – 19th century, many versions of this work have enjoyed a real success on great world stages. The show in Chisinau is directed by Andrea Battistini from Italy.

Also, on Sunday at 18:00, Russian State Drama Theatre A. P. Chekhov will be the performance "Divas, or in theatre only girls" and Mihai Eminescu National Theatre – performance "Aveti ceva de declarat?" Do you have anything to declare? by Georges Feydeau. Under conducting of Petru Hadarca, orchestra of the National Performers brings on stage one of the most played parts in the world – "Flea in the ear".
