Budget revenues grow by almost 15 per cent within eight months of 2018 in Moldova

Chisinau, 03 September /MOLDPRES/ – Since the beginning of 2018, receipts to the National Public Budget (BPN) administered by the State Tax Service (SFS) amounted to MDL 23.9 billion, up MDL 3.1 billion or 14.9 per cent over the same period of 2017.

According to SFS's data, during the eight months of 2018, the state budget received MDL 10.7 billion, which represents MDL 1.6 billion more than the same period of 2017 or an increase of 17.4 per cent.

The local budgets recorded revenues of MDL 2.6 billion, 12.6 per cent higher. A similar increase was recorded in the state social insurance budget, which amounted to MDL 8.2 billion.

The mandatory healthcare insurance funds accounted for about MDL 2.6 billion, 13.4 per cent higher compared to the similar period of 2017.
