Moldovan government allocates 100,000 lei to families with victims following explosion in Chisinau

Chisinau, 10 October /MOLDPRES/ - The government has allocated 100,000 lei to back the families with victims in the wake of the blast which took place in the Rascani district of Chisinau on 6 October. The cabinet approved the decision today.
According to the government’s communication and protocol department, the financial means are earmarked from the cabinet’s intervention fund and will be distributed to two families with dead people, each family benefiting from support worth 50,000 lei.
The explosion occurred in a block of flats on the Moscow blvd 11/5 from Chisinau on 6 October evening. According to the information put out by the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, four people died in the wake of the blast and another two ones are still hospitalized.
