MDL depreciates against USD

Chisinau, 24 October /MOLDPRES/ – The national currency (MDL) will continue to depreciate against USD. The National Bank of Moldova (BNM) has set an official exchange rate of MDL 17,07 for 25 October, with MDL 0,03 more than today.
On the other hand, the single European currency (EUR) will cheapen by MDL 0,07, up to quotation of MDL 19,48. The same trend will be the Romanian leu (RON), which will lose MDL 0,01 and cost MDL 04,18.
The Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) will still cost MDL 0,60, and Russian rouble (RUB) will havesimilar cost, like today, MDL 0,26.
According to BNM' data, in September, MDL depreciated, in average values, by 01 per cent against USD.
