Japanese Film Festival to take place in Moldova

Chisinau, 31 October /MOLDPRES/ - The third issue of the Japanese Film Festival will be held at the Chisinau-based Odeon Cultural Centre on 2-3 November.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, Ambassador of Japan to Moldova Masanobu Yoshii has said that four films would be screened at this issue of the festival.
A film titled, Tremble as Much as You Want, directed by Akiko Ohku, will be screened on 2 November at 18:15. On 3 November, a movie, Parks, directed by Nitsuki Seta, will be presented at 10:00, the film, Tremble as Much as You Want – at 12:10, the movie, The World is Yours Starting from Today, directed by Masaya Ozaki – at 14:20, the film, Let’s Go, Jets, directed by Hayato Kawai, will be screened at 16:20.
According to the ambassador, the festival’s goal is to present the life and way of thinking of the Japanese. “We hope that, through those four movies, you will learn more about us and our country,” Masanobu Yoshii stressed.
The entrance to the films is free.
The first issue of the Japanese Film Festival took place in March 2017, the second one – in October of the same year. Both issues were dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Moldova and Japan.
