Moldovans insuring individually accepted to pay for medical policy

Chisinau, 27 December /MOLDPRES/ – The individuals who are self-reliant can pay from today the mandatory healthcare insurance premium in the fixed amount for 2019. Until 01 April 2019 inclusive, they benefit from discounts of up to 75 per cent of the premium, which costs MDL 4,056, similarly as in 2017.

Thus, the owners of agricultural land benefit from 75 per cent discounts and pay MDL 1,014 through the territorial agencies of the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM).

Also, the founders of individual enterprises, patent holders, tenants, lessors, other citizens who are not employed and not insured by Government, foreign citizens with temporary right of residence in Moldova will pay MDL 2,028, which represents 50 per cent premium for medical insurance.

The individuals in the retail trade, except for the trade in excisable goods, benefit from 60 per cent discounts and pay MDL 1,622.40 to territorial agencies of CNAM.

Those who wish to pay the mandatory healthcare insurance premium with the bank card or on the Internet – connected device are to access the MPay service, enter the IDNP, the verification code, and follow the necessary steps, depending on the payment method.

The mediators, notaries, lawyers, bailiffs, judicial experts working in a court of expertise, interpreters, translators and authorised administrators, regardless of the legal form of work organisation, not employed, who have obtained a certificate, licence or authorisation as established by law, they will pay the first in full amount, or MDL 4,056. The payment can be made to any bank or agency (AT) of CNAM, with subsequent confirmation of payment to territorial agencies of CNAM.
