Moldovan leu to continue appreciating against main currencies

Chisinau, 21 January /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldovan leu on 22 January will continue appreciating against the main reference currencies, according to the official exchange rates posted by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).
Thus, the euro will cheapen by 0.07 lei and will cost 19.48 lei. The U.S. dollar will lose 0.01 leu, to a quotation of 17.13 lei.
The Romanian leu will cheapen too and will cost 4.13 lei, after depreciating by 0.03 lei.
BNM set an official exchange rate of 0.61 lei for the Ukrainian hryvnia, the same as for today. The Russian rouble will keep its exchange rate of 0.25 lei.
