Moldovan electoral body registers last contenders in national district

Chisinau, 30 January /MOLDPRES/ – The last electoral contenders on the national district were registered by the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today.

These are candidates from the Liberal Party (PL) and the Ecologist Green Party (PVE).

The PL's list includes 30 candidates, and the PVE's – 31 ones.

Also, the CEC recorded the electoral symbols of the parties.

The CEC has previously registered electoral candidates from several political parties: the Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM), Socialists' Party of Moldova (PSRM), electoral bloc ACUM Platform DA and PAS, Communists' Party of Moldova (PCRM), Shor Party, Partidul Nostru (Our Party), People's Movement Antimafie, National Liberal Party (PNL), Political Party Vointa Poporului (The people's will), Party of Regions of Moldova (PRM), Political Party Democratia Acasa (The democracy at home), Movement of Professionals Speranta – Nadejda (Hope) and Political Party Patria (Motherland).

The parliamentary elections of 24 February will be held after a mixed electoral system. As such, there will be elected 50 MPs on party lists and 51 ones in uninominal constituencies.
