Euro, U.S. dollar to appreciate against Moldovan leu

Chisinau, 08 February /MOLDPRES/ – At the beginning of upcoming week, the euro (EUR) and US dollar (USD) will appreciate against the Moldovan leu (MDL), according to official exchange rates issued by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM) today.

Thus, the EUR will add MDL 0.03, up to MDL 19.40. The USD will appreciate by MDL 0.01 and cost MDL 17.11.

As it stands for the Romanian leu (RON), the BNM posted an official exchange rate of MDL 04.08, similar to the one of today. There will remain unchanged the values of the Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) and the Russian rouble (RUB). The RUB will also cost MDL 0.25, and the UAH will be quoted as MDL 0.63, like today.

The official exchange rate is the price of the MDL against the currencies of other countries.
