Children with backbone deformations to benefit from correction operations financed by state in Moldova

Chisinau, 22 February /MOLDPRES/ - The National Health Insurances Company (CNAM) will finance a new programme of operations in children for the first time ever. Thus, minors with deformations of the backbone and thoracic cage will benefit from operations of anatomic correction, financially covered by the state.

The head of the CNAM information and media communication service, Silvia Munteanu, has said that the institution would finance, this year for the first time ever, ten operations within a special programme titled, Anatomic correction of the backbone and thoracic cage.

The sum contracted by CNAM for the aforementioned interventions, including the needed consumable things, is of more than 507,000 lei. All operations will be carried out at the Mother and Child Institute.
