Moldovan leu to appreciate against single European currency

Chisinau, 22 February /MOLDPRES/ – At the beginning of upcoming week, the national currency (MDL) will appreciate against the euro (EUR), according to the official exchange rates presented by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).
As such, the EUR cheapens by MDL 0.02, up to the level of MDL 19.42. The US dollar (USD) maintains its price of MDL 17.13.
The Romanian leu (RON) depreciates with MDL 0.01. Its official value will be MDL 04.07.
The rate of the Russian rouble (RUB) and the Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) will remain unchanged. The UAH costs MDL 0.63 and the Russian rouble (RUB) has an official price of MDL 0.26.
