Moldovan anticorruption officers raided Sculeni customs, headquarters of Customs Service

Chisinau, 18 March /MOLDPRES/- National Anticorruption Center (CNA) carries out criminal prosecution actions at Sculeni customs post and in Chisinau, the headquarters of the Customs Service in several corruption cases.
CNA press officer Angela Starinschi confirmed the information.
"At this time, five people are already detained, including three customs inspectors, an intermediary and the head of a department of the Customs Service in the central office. People are suspected of passive corruption, influence peddling and complicity to passive corruption," Starinschi said.
