U.S. dollar appreciates against Moldovan leu

Chisinau, 21 May /MOLDPRES/ – The U.S. dollar (USD) appreciates with MDL 0.01 against Moldovan leu (MDL) on 22 May, according to official exchange rates published by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).
As a result, the cost of USD is MDL 17.95. Also, the European single currency (EUR) preserves its price of MDL 20.01 on 22 May.
The BNM's data also indicates that the MDL holds its position against the Romanian leu (RON), Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) and Russian rouble (RUB). Thus, RUB costs MDL 0.27, UAH remains at its actual level of MDL 0.68. The similar tendency is for RON – MDL 04.20.
