Moldovan parliament informs about contest for leadership of National Anticorruption Centre

Chisinau, 27 June /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament’s juridical commission for rules and immunities has informed about a contest for the selection of the candidate for the office of director of the National Anticorruption Centre (CNA), the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.   

At its meeting on 26 June, the aforementioned commission adopted a Regulation on the contest for the selection of the candidate for the position of director of the National Anticorruption Centre.  

Under the Regulation, the candidate must meet the following requirements:  

- he/she must have the citizenship of Moldova and residence on its territory;  

- no measure of judicial protection has been established for him/her;

- he/she has higher legal education;

- he/she has a length of service in the legal sector of at least ten years;

- he/she has an irreproachable reputation;

- he/she has not been member of any political party in the last two years;  

- he/she does not have criminal record;

- he/she knows the state language;

- he/she is capable of exercising the duties from the medical viewpoint;

- he/she does not have interdiction to hold a public office or responsible public office;

The file will contain the following documents:

- motivation letter;

- participation form/CV (annex to the present Regulation);

- the copy of identity card;

- the copies of the education diplomas;

- the medical/health certificate F 086E;

- criminal record;

- declaration on one’s own responsibility that he/she has not been member of a political party in the last two years, has not been member of the standing bodies of any political party;

- declaration on one’s own responsibility that he/she has not interdiction to hold a public office or responsible public office, which results from an ascertaining act by the National Integrity Authority;

- 3 recommendation letters;  

- the concept of management and institutional development of the National Anticorruption Centre

The candidates will submit their files on 28 June - 12 July 2019 personally, by mail or e-mail to the secretariat of the juridical commission for rules and immunities.
