Chisinau, 2 July /MOLDPRES/ - The students matriculated at the International Economic Relations Faculty (REI) of the Moldovan Academy of Economic Studies (ASEM) at the end of the education will receive two diplomas: one released by the host institution and another European one, issued by the Bucharest-based Academy of Economic Studies (ASE Bucharest). This will be possible due to a cooperation agreement between the two higher education institutions.

The students matriculated to this syllabus will study at ASEM the first two years and in Bucharest during the third year. ASE Bucharest will provide free of charge accommodation to students from Moldova. Moreover, the students recording good results in education will be able to benefit from scholarship provided by the Romanian state, including starting from the first academic year.

The dean of the International Economic Relations Faculty, Rodica Crudu, has said that the main goal of the joint syllabi with double diploma was to give students chance to benefit from education of European quality at home, in Moldova, from courses delivered both by professors of ASEM and from ASE Bucharest.

Each student from Moldova participating in this syllabus will have two coordinators for the working out of the graduation paper (one from Moldova and one of Romania). The defending of the graduation paper will take place at ASE Bucharest before a joint commission, made up of professors from both education institutions.
