More universities of Moldova publish preliminary results of admission

Chisinau, 23 July /MOLDPRES/ - More higher education institutions have posted the preliminary results of the admission to the 2019-2020 academic year.  

Among the institutions which posted the results, there are the Nicolae Testemitanu  State University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Technical University of Moldova, State University of Moldova, Ion Creanga State Pedagogical University.  

According to the rules established by the universities, the candidates declared admitted, who opted for more education institutions, will have at their disposal a certain term to submit the education acts in original to the university where they  decide to continue their education.   

If uncovered places remain at some universities following the basic session, the institutions will be able to decide to hold an additional admission session.

According to the Education, Culture and Research Ministry, this year too, each university sets the term of submitting the documents and its own admission methodology.   

The cabinet has recently approved a state demand of training specialty staff, with financing from the state budget, in higher education institutions, for the 2019-2020 academic year. Thus, the state demand for the cycle I – degree higher education, provides for the admission of 4,906 persons within 26 general education sectors. As many as 2,876 persons are seen to be admitted to the higher master education (cycle II).    

There are 17 state higher education institutions and nine private ones in Moldova.
