Moldovans from Italy to benefit from accessible consular services

Chisinau, 30 August /MOLDPRES/- The current bilateral ties, as well as the development of relations between Moldova and Italy in future, including the entry into force of bilateral agreements on social security, conversion of permits and recognition of educational documents between Moldova and Italy were discussed at a meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Nicu Popescu and Ambassador of Italy to Chisinau Valeria Biagiotti.

According to the MAEIE’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media relations service, the officials expressed mutual interest in the entry into force as soon as possible of the bilateral agreements on social security, the conversion of permits and the recognition of educational documents, so that citizens of both countries can benefit from better living conditions in the countries of residence.

Also, in the context of a large number of Moldovan citizens in Italy, Popescu noted that all necessary measures will be taken for our diaspora to receive available consular services.
