New director of Moldsilva agency appointed

Chisinau, 4 September /MOLDPRES/- Valeriu Caisin was appointed as director of Moldsilva Agency, following a competition organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and the Environment (MADRM). He was introduced to the agency's staff on September 3, during a meeting attended by minister Georgeta Mincu.

”Following the contest organized by MADRM, Valeriu Caisîn has won. The new director has thirty years of experience in the forestry field, is a doctor in biology, has capacities in the production and protection processes within the forest fund, is a good organizer and manager. Mr. Director, success and achievements to meet the expectations of the citizens ”, Mincu said.

For his part, Caisin assured he will take efforts to improve the situation in national forests, degraded lands, forest curtains for agricultural land protection - "to highlight the priorities of the forestry sector and to take concrete actions in this regard".

The position of director of the Moldsilva Agency became vacant on 10 July and on 22 July- 3 September, MADRM organized a competition for the position, nine candidates attended.
