Chisinau, 18 October /MOLDPRES/- Moldova marks the European Day against Human Trafficking on 18 October.  On this occasion, in the coming weeks, several actions will be organized at the border to inform travelers about the danger of human trafficking and illegal migration.

Some information messages will be sent through human figures that have already been placed in the waiting room at Chisinau International Airport. These are the real stories of the victims of trafficking in human beings, citizens of the Republic of Moldova.

Also, in the following days, the leaflets will be offered at the border, whereby travelers will be urged to call the Hot Line for safe and anti-traffic migration - 0 800 77777 or to access - in order to avoid the risks.

At the most requested crossing points, at the exit of the country the border guards will attach to the passport of the nationals the leaflet, and will inform those interested about the danger of human trafficking and illegal migration.

Border Police Head Rosian Vasiloi, on a working visit to Chisinau International Airport, urged border guards to communicate with passengers and to help stop human trafficking.
