Chisinau, 8 November /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today took note of a ruling by the Constitutional Court, which has earlier validated the mandates of four MPs elected at the 20 October 2019 ballot.
Thus, Ghenadie Verdes is lawmaker instead of the former leader of the Moldovan Democratic Party (PDM), Vlad Plahotniuc. Vasile Nastase was elected MP, replacing his brother - the leader of the Dignity and Truth Platform Party (PPDA), Andrei Nastase.
Galina Sajin will hold the MP seat earlier held by Prime Minister Maia Sandu and Vitalii Evtodiev is lawmaker instead of an independent candidate, Viorel Melnic, who gave up his MP mandate.
The citizens from four uninominal electoral districts elected their representatives in parliament on 20 October, this year. The MP seats remained vacant, after two lawmakers elected at the 24 February ballot had resigned and another two ones gave up their mandates because of the incompatibility of offices.
