Moldovan PM to pay working visit to Russia

Chisinau, 18 November /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Ion Chicu announced today he will pay external visits this week, including one to Moscow. He noted that the visit had been previously agreed, and it will focus on issues related to gas prices and export to Russia.

According to Chicu, the visit to Moscow has long been agreed between the prime ministers of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Moldova, but for various reasons it did not happen.

"There have been a large number of critical issues that are on the agenda of discussions, including the problem of carriers, export of agri-food products, gas supply. The extension of the product list and the extension of the export term will be discussed ”, he said.

The premier said that this week he will go to a forum on Eastern Partnership platform, and will hold talks with premiers from neighbouring countries.

Also this week, he will hold meetings with ministers to discuss sectoral issues. He announced that the first meeting of the new Cabinet will be held on 19 November at 3 pm.
