Moldovans working in Russia to benefit from pensions

Chisinau, 20 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldovans working in Russia will benefit from pensions. The parliament’s commission for foreign policy and European integration has approved the starting of negotiations on a draft agreement between Moldova and Russia in the field of providing of pensions.   

The agreement regards the workers migrants from Moldova who work or reside in Russia. The document is to apply to the Moldovan citizens in the following cases: age limit pension, survivor pension, disability pension and allowance, triggered by labour accidents or professional diseases, death benefit.

In the case of the citizens of Russia, it about the insurance pensions for age limit, disability pensions, survivor insurance, fix payment for an insurance pension, increase in the fixed payment and the supplement to the insurance pension, pensions and payments of accumulation, financed from the funds of savings of pensions, social pensions, social supplement to pensions and social death benefit.   

The agreement will replace the present accord between the governments of Moldova and Russia on the guarantees of the rights of the citizens in the field of supply with pensions, signed on 10 February 1995.  

So far, Moldova has signed similar agreements with 13 states.
