Over 591,000 persons to get MDL 700 for winter holidays in Moldova

Chisinau, 06 December /MOLDPRES/ – The persons who benefit from pensions and state social allowances will get a unique financial aid of MDL 700 for winter holidays. The money will be able to be obtained from the first days of January 2020. A draft law for this purpose was adopted by Legislature, on Thursday, 05 December, in two readings.

According to project, the beneficiaries of the unique support will be the persons who receive pensions and state social allowances not exceeding MDL 2,000. The unique financial support will be granted to persons receiving elderly age pensions, disability pensions, pensions of descendant, old – age pensions for work, pensions for some categories of employees, pensions of term military personnel and their family members, pensions of participants of liquidation of consequences of Chernobyl disaster, as well as the beneficiaries of other social allowances established in public pension system until 01 January 2020.

According to quoted source, the necessary expenses for granting the unique support constitute about MDL 418 mln, resources that are provided in the project of the state budget (BS) for 2020.

The payment of the aid of MDL 700 will be made by the National House of Social Insurance (CNAS), through the payment service provider that ensures the payment of pensions and social allowances.
