More Moldovan servicemen receive state distinctions, Honorary Diploma

Chisinau, 13 December /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon today awarded state distinctions and the Honorary Diploma of the President of Moldova to a group of servicemen of the Alexandru cel Bun Military Academy of the Armed Forces.
According to the press service of the presidential institution, the concerned military got the silver medal at the international exercise Cambrian Patrol 2019, held in the United Kingdom in last October. The distinctions were offered as a token of appreciation for the high professionalism, irreproachable fulfillment of the job duty and contribution to enhancing the National Army’s prestige.
At the same time, Igor Dodon handed the Honorary Diploma of the President of Moldova to the defence attaché of the British Embassy, Robyn Davis Hall, for special merits in the carrying out of bilateral projects in the military cooperation sector.
The head of state conveyed sincere congratulations to the servicemen for the success achieved at the international competition, in which 132 teams from 34 countries participated. Dodon noted that, through their performance, the military contributed to the promotion of Moldova’s image internationally.
