Retirees likely to get 700 lei state aid in coming months

Chisinau, 25 May /MOLDPRES/- Retirees in the country who have a pension of up to 3,000 lei could receive one-off allowance of 700 lei from the state in the coming months. President Igor Dodon made the statement today after the weekly meeting with the country's leadership.

Dodon said he had asked the government to draft a bill to this effect. "Financial resources are, they have already been identified," he said.

Also, the head of state said that the authorities will come up with a package to support the business environment in the country. First measure is related to extending the rescheduling of loans taken by companies by late 2020. Currently, the deadline is up to 1 June 2020.

The state will also cover bank interest on new loans for businesses, in the amount of six salary funds for the period up to 31 December 2021.
