As many as 229 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 5 June /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 1,518 biological samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 229 ones proved to be positive. Nine of these cases are registered in the Transnistrian region. Thus, there are 9,247 confirmed cases of new-type coronavirus in all, according to the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS).

MSMPS said that 21 out of all today’s cases were medical employees: 10 physicians, 8 medical assistants and 3 auxiliary staff employees. At the same time, 5,240 people have been healed so far.

The health Ministry also informs about the registration of another six deaths triggered by COVID-19. Thus, there are 323 people dead of coronavirus in all.
