Moldovan employment agency says most jobs are in textiles industry, ready-made clothes

Chisinau, 15 June /MOLDPRES/ - The textile industry and ready-made clothes offers most jobs.

The National Employment Agency (ANOFM) today informed that there were 8,442 vacant jobs in the database. Most of them are in Chisinau – 2,517 jobs and in Balti – 1,167 jobs.

According to statistics data unveiled by ANOFM, 1,937 jobs are available for people with higher and secondary education, which accounts for about 23 per cent of all vacant jobs. Temporary moratorium has been established for the vacant jobs in the public authorities’ structures.

As for people with secondary vocational education and unqualified workers, ANOFM provides 6,505 jobs, which accounts for 77 of all vacant jobs. Most jobs are in the textiles industry and ready-made clothes – 2,031, followed by those in the transport and telecommunications sector – 856.

A number of 480 jobs are available for unqualified workers.
