Another 40 young people bought homes through First Home program

Chisinau, 30 June /MOLDPRES/- Through the First Home program 4,450 homes have been purchased so far, and the total amount of loans granted by banks is 2.234 billion lei.

According to the Ministry of Finance, out of the 4,450 beneficiaries, 3,116 are families, and 1,334 - unmarried young people. The average age of the applicants is 31 years. Out of the total number of beneficiaries, 648 persons benefit from compensations from the state budget under the First Home 2 program, 1,713 - First Home 3 program and 357 - First Home 4 program.

The amount of compensations from the state budget to partially cover the expenses incurred by the beneficiaries for the payment of the mortgage under the First Home is 17,2356 million lei. Thus, within the First Home 2 program, compensations were granted from the state budget worth 5.3354 million lei, within the First Home 3 program - 10.5091 million lei and First Home 4 program - 1.3911 million lei.

Program beneficiaries can become citizens aged between 18 and 50, who are officially employed at state institution or private company.
