More than 2,500 medical system employees infected with COVID-19 in Moldova in all

Chisinau, 7 July /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 2,546 cases of infection among medical system employees have been confirmed, of whom 659 physicians and 1,115 medical assistants. As many as 17,906 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus have been registered in Moldova since the beginning of the epidemic.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 391 infected people are in serious condition, 29 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus and 1,083 are hospitalized in medium seriousness condition.

On 6 July, 194 people were treated and discharged from hospitals, with 11,241 healed people in all.

At the same time, MSMPS also informs about the registration of another three deaths triggered by COVID-19 and thus, there are 598 people dead of coronavirus in all.
