Quality requirements for meat products approved

Chisinau, 19 August /MOLDPRES/- The government approved today the decision on quality requirements for meat products. The document transposes several acts of the European Union in this respect, amended last year.
The quality requirements for meat products set out rules for packaging, labeling, transportation, for meat products from both domestic production and import.
The decision shall enter into force six months after the date of its publication, and the control over its execution shall be entrusted to the National Agency for Food Safety.
