As many as 531 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 12 September /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 2,626 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 531 cases of infection with the new coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 42,714 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), one case is of import. Thirty seven out of all cases are medical employees: 12 physicians, 21 medical assistants and 4 auxiliary staff employees.

The health condition of the people hit is as follows: 557 are in serious condition (of whom 37 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus) and 1,352 persons are in medium seriousness condition; the other patients are in satisfactory condition.

Another 481 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 30,918 persons have been healed of COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another four deaths triggered by COVID-19 and there are 1,118 people dead of this virus in all. So far, 32 medical employees have lost their fight with COVID-19.
