Moldovan electoral body announces voting arrangements for runoff

Chisinau, 5 November /MOLDPRES/- The Central Electoral Commission / CEC / announced today the voting modalities for the runoff on 15 November 2020.
The declarations on the new place of residence submitted to the local public administration body are also valid for the runoff. Applications for voting with a mobile ballot box can be made by 18:00 on 14 November 2020. On 15 November, applications can only be submitted by 15.00. Applications submitted for the first round are not valid for the second round.
If the voter wants to vote at another polling station or in another locality, he will submit an application to the electoral bureau of the polling station where he is assigned, he will prove with the identity document that he has the right to vote at this polling station and will get a certificate of voting rights. Certificates issued for the first round are not valid for the runoff.
Students and pupils will vote in the polling station corresponding to the valid residence or may request the voting certificate.
According to the CEC, 3,605,517 ballots will be printed for the 15 November election.
