Chisinau city hall to hold winter holidays austerely

Chisinau, 23 November /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau city hall has banned the organization of live concerts and food sales at Christmas fairs.

Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban said today at the online meeting of the services of Chisinau that the pandemic situation in Moldova has exceeded China's statistics on the number of infected, and the pandemic situation in the municipality is serious. In the context of the winter holidays, the official said that no concerts will be organized and will ban the sale of food products at Christmas fairs. "It is forbidden in all forms to sell various products at fairs. There are no concerts, except for Christmas songs that can be set for the holiday atmosphere ", he said.

He noted that this year the municipality will use minimal resources to bring "the magic of the Christmas holidays in Chisinau."
