Fines for non-compliance with COVID-19 prophylaxis measures to be reduced

Chisinau, 8 December /MOLDPRES/- Fines for non-compliance with COVID-19 prophylaxis measures set by the competent authorities will be reduced. The promulgation decree and the law amending some laws were published today in the Official Journal and entered into force.

Thus, the fine will decrease from 22,500 - 25,000 lei, as it is now, down to 2,000 - 5,000 lei for private people. For legal entities, the fine will be between 10,000 - 35,000 lei, compared to 50,000 - 75,000 lei.

Also, the fine for deliberate presentation of false or incomplete data or refusal to provide data necessary to fill in epidemiological file will be reduced from 22,500 - 25,000 lei to 2,500 -7,500 lei.
