As many as 1,441 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 18 December /MOLDPRES/- In the last 24 hours, 3,569 tests were processed in the Republic of Moldova, being confirmed 1,441 cases of infection with the new coronavirus, of which eight were imported. So far, 133,360 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS), out of the total number of cases, 58 are medical workers: doctors-11, nurses-31, auxiliary staff-16.

There are 8473 people in home treatment with mild forms of COVID-19, and 31,321 are under home supervision.

Another 1382 people were healed. In total, 115,612 people were treated by COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 26 deaths caused by COVID-19, the number of deaths reaching 2,700.
