More than 1,150 drives fined in Moldova in last week-end

Chisinau, 21 December /MOLDPRES/ - Employees of the National Public Security Inspectorate (INSP) in the last week-end documented more than 1,150 drivers with legal infringements, of whom 555 ones exceeded the speed limit.

According to INSP data, in the last week-end, 19 drivers were found driving drunk and 157 did not observe road signs. Another 126 drivers violated rules of vehicles’ registration and technical revision and 30 drivers were fined, as they did not have their belts coupled.

At the same time, patrol inspectors intervened in 135 requests received from citizens through the 112 single national service, of which 14 ones were for the disturbance of public order.
