Book exhibition dedicated to poet Mihai Eminescu inaugurated at Moldova's National Library

Chisinau, 15 January /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s National Library (BNRM) today inaugurated a book exhibition titled, Mihai Eminescu – fundamental myth of National Culture, on the occasion of the 171st birthday anniversary of national poet Mihai Eminescu and marking of the National Culture Day.

According to BNRM director Elena Pintilei, the exhibition displays for the wide public 185 documents of the Library’s collection on the life and work of the Romanian poet, prose writer and journalist Mihai Eminescu. Editions from Eminescu’s works, researchers on the poet’s works, critic studies, documents showing the importance of Eminescu’s works in the evolution of the Romanian language are exhibited.

The exhibition includes four divisions and will be open till 15 February.
