Variable weather, snow expected in Moldova in last week of January

Chisinau, 25 January /MOLDPRES/ - Variable weather and precipitation in form of rains, snowfall and sleet are expected in the last week of January, the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has reported.

According to meteorologists, the air temperature will increase to +5 Celsius degrees during the day and -5 degrees at night and the weather is to cool as of 27 January.

Thus, till 29 January, the air temperatures will oscillate between -2 and+3 degrees during the day and down to -6 degrees at night. Meteorologists forecast snow, sleet and rains in places.

Before the next week-end, the air temperature will slightly increase up to+ 5 degrees during the day and the night frost will intensify down to -9 degrees. No precipitation is expected in the week-end, with variable cloud, sunny intervals.
