Experts warn of difficulties of wildlife in frosty period

Chisinau, 17 February /MOLDPRES/- The Society for Protection of Birds and Nature (SPPN) has warned of the difficulties that wildlife is going through during this cold time, due to lack of food. According to SPPN, birds are particularly vulnerable, as they usually eat plants and insects, food now missing.
"At the same time, due to the fact that many water basins freeze, we may see in urban or rural areas species of waterfowl, which usually live near water sources. They need care", the company specialists said.
