Over 4,200 COVID-19 infected patients hospitalized in Moldova

Chisinau, 10 March /MOLDPRES/- A number of 4,241 patients confirmed with COVID-19 infection is currently hospitalized in public medical institutions, of which 331 in extremely serious condition and 72 patients are connected to assisted respiration devices.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, there are 11,776 people in home treatment with mild and moderate forms of COVID-19 and 18,043 are under home supervision.

Given increasing number of infections, MSMPS reiterates the need to comply with the protection measures against COVID-19. Thus, citizens are urged to stay home and not go out without a mask, to keep a physical distance of at least 1 m between people, avoid crowd and wash their hands as often as possible or to disinfect them.
