Meteorologists forecast cool week-end, with rains in places

Chisinau, 23 April /MOLDPRES/ - The weather will maintain cool than usually for this period in the next week-end, the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has reported.

According to the meteorologists, variable cloud without precipitation is expected on 24-26 April. Short light rains are forecast only in some regions on 25 and 26 April evening.

In the next week-end, the night-time air temperature will oscillate between +1 and +6 Celsius degrees. At the same time, mainly in northern Moldova, there is danger of frost on the surface of soil of the intensity of 1-2 degrees. During the day, the air temperature will vary between +10 and +16 degrees. As usual, the weather will be warmer by 2-3 degrees in the southern regions and cooler in the northern ones.

On 25 April, the orthodox Christians celebrate the Palm Sunday. According to the people’s tradition, the weather on this day will be the same as on Easter.
