93 centers to be open for 2021 Baccalaureate session

Chisinau, 6 May /MOLDPRES/- The National Examination Commission has approved list of baccalaureate centers 2021 session.

According to the Commission, the exams will be held in 93 Baccalaureate Centers, of which 31 will be in Chisinau. Given the total number of candidates, only one Baccalaureate Center was established in 17 districts. In the previous session, the exams were held in 88 baccalaureate centers.

16,773 candidates are registered in the 2021 exam session, less than in previous years (in the 2020 session - 17,305 candidates; 2019 - 17,442; 2018 - 18,357).

The exams will be held on 4 -22 June 2021.

Due to the pandemic crisis, the 2020 Baccalaureate session was canceled, and the graduation diplomas were issued based on the annual averages during the high school studies.
